Area of Expertise

Dr. Seema has a particular interest in menopausal health and helps women cope with this transition. Her scope of practice includes general obstetrics and antenatal care, including high-risk pregnancies, Caesarean sections, diabetes in pregnancy, maternal medicine problems, and general gynaecology, including menstrual disorders, endometriosis, prolapse and ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, menopause and cervical smears. She practises adolescent and paediatric gynaecology, performs colposcopy and manages vaginal prolapse and repair, including vaginal hysterectomy. She undertakes both open and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Sen speaks Bengali, English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
