Dr. Thomas’ expertise covers the entire gamut of flexible Bronchoscopy, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like bronchoalveolar lavage( BAL), transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB), transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) and foreign body removal. She performs pleural procedures like thoracoscopy, thoracocentesis, and intercostal drainage tube and practises sleep medicine that includes Polysomnography and CPAP titration. Under respiratory critical care, she performs endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation and central venous catheters. She possesses in-depth expertise in managing complex cases in respiratory intensive care units and has successfully treated patients with conditions like allergies, bronchial asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Sleep apnoea, Interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung malignancy, pleural disorders, respiratory infections and Pulmonary vascular disorders.
