Area of Expertise

Dr. Eid has initiated all forms of renal replacement therapy in critically ill patients at PICU. He has successfully treated children with acquired kidney diseases and hypertension including nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, proteinuria, and haematuria. He is an expert at diagnosing and managing acute and chronic kidney disease in infants, children & adolescents, paediatric kidney transplantation, performing dialysis, renal replacement therapy and therapeutic plasma exchange, genetic and congenital kidney disorders, electrolytes abnormalities, rickets and metabolic syndrome in paediatrics, urinary tract infection, enuresis, bladder disorders and renal calculi. He integrates paediatric urology and nephrology.
