Dr. Mtemererwa is an highly skilled and experienced professional whose expertise covers the entire gamut of diseases related to Endocrinology, Diabetes and Acute and General Internal Medicine. He has a keen interest in disorders of puberty and development, fertility, reproductive endocrinology, pregnancy diabetes care, and thyroid disorders and cancer. He is proficient in managing acutely ill general medical patients and endocrine emergencies, electrolyte and bone metabolic disorders, diabetes (type 1 and 2) care including pump therapy and complications management, and adrenal gland disorders and tumours. He has expertise in managing pituitary disorders, lesions and nodules, autoimmune endocrine disorders, multiple endocrine neoplasia, calcium, vitamin D and bone metabolic disorders, cholesterol and weight management.
