Dr. El Zawahry’s repertoire of expertise covers the entire gamut of paediatric pulmonology, critical care, child development and growth, besides comprehensive newborn care from day one, including continuous monitoring for babies requiring special attention, management of all neonatal cases, addressing feeding issues with lactation consultation, postnatal follow-up, and treatment of neonatal jaundice, encouraging and supporting breastfeeding, with dedicated guidance for new mothers. He proficiently manages all respiratory conditions, including cough, wheezing, chest congestion, fever, allergies, skin disorders, respiratory distress, croup and asthma. He diagnoses and treats anaemia in children, evaluates and manages growth and development disorders, and addresses gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, distension, and gastrointestinal bleeding. He also pays special attention to neurological and nutritional disorders, diabetes, and acute and chronic childhood diseases and provides specialised care for growth and genetic disorders.
