Area of Expertise

Dr. Khalafawi’s expertise covers general Paediatrics that includes asthma, nutritional disorders, anaemia, blood diseases, constipation, obesity, skin rashes, and allergies in children. She has successfully managed acute and chronic paediatric diseases, infantile colic, GERD, and growth failure and treated lactation difficulties and breastfeeding problems. She administers vaccination and uses techniques like urinary catheterization, and lumbar puncture intubation to treat her little patients. She monitors normal and abnormal growth in infants and children and has also given ventilation to new-borns.
