Dr. Awad treats all types of fractures and acute and chronic orthopaedic complaints that include the upper and lower extremities, neck, back and pelvic complaints, acute foot and ankle injuries, Achilles tendon inflammation or rupture, sports injuries, Hallux Valgus (Bunions), Hallux Rigidus (osteoarthritis), Hammertoes and claw toes, acquired and congenital toe deformities, heel pain, shaft fractures of large tubular bones (lower leg, thigh, forearm, upper arm), joint fractures, especially ankle, arthroscopy of the ankle joint, rheumatic feet, treatment of cartilage defects through microfracture and AMIC -plastic, anterior and posterior impingement syndrome in the ankle joint, Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome, nerve entrapment syndrome, neuroma, tendon repair in chronic and acute cases, arthrodesis in the hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot area for congenital and acquired foot deformities and diseases. He performs both open and minimally invasive foot surgeries, minimally invasive metatarsal osteotomy, correction osteotomies, bunionette of the little toe, cheilectomy, toe deformities, Haglund heel removal, exostosis removal, arthrosis of the subtalar joint in children with flexible pes planovalgus /flatfoot and ankle joint arthroscopy. He gives joint and soft tissue injections ( PRP, hyaluronic acid corticosteroids), shockwave therapy for heel pain, Achilles tendon complaints, stress fractures, neuroma pain, delayed bone healing, bursitis, tendons and muscle pain, Foot medical insoles after foot scan, pressure measurement and Gait analysis and ankle braces and orthotics.
