Area of Expertise

Dr. Elawad’s expertise covers all aspects of otolaryngology. He conducts regular ENT clinics treating all patients with ENT problems and performs all routine ENT surgeries like tonsils, adenoids, septoplasties, SMR, SMD by coblation, tympanoplasties, and mastoid surgeries. He also performs micro-laryngoscopies and microscopic ear surgery. He is proficient in minor procedures carried out in the outpatient clinic including fibre optic nasopharyngoscopy, microscopic ear examination, endoscopic nasal examination, removing foreign bodies from ears nose and throat, usual medical disorders of the ears nose and throat, treating of vertigo by hall pike manoeuvre, treating all fungal ear infections, removing of ear wax by suction or by ear wash, treating of nasal bleeding or post nasal bleeding by the nasal pack or nasal cautery (chemical or electrical), maxillary sinuses washout and treating swelling of ear canals due to Otitis Externa by special manoeuvre. He also treats patients with allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and nasal polyps and cures snoring through coblation.
